Migration Management - From International Practice to Georgian Model


New trends brought new ideas and solutions unified under the approach named – Migration and/for Development. This title usually causes mixed understanding – the idea that migration must be oriented on development is something taken by majority as a very progressive and good for both migrants and states, whereas how to manage such a development-oriented approach is something that ultimately splits views and attitudes. However, more and more give their preferences to the corporative management systems, where the whole-of-government approach is well mixed with the action of civil and international actors. This very much increases innovative solutions and by same degree decreases ineffectiveness.
