The overall objective of the assignment is to support PMCG in building partnerships and resource mobilization in Armenia, to engage in business development and project-based activities.

Business Development Manager/Representative of PMCG in Armenia

Part-time role with the perspective of a full-time assignment

Required Qualification and Experience:

  • Advanced degree in Economics, public finance, public policy, public administration, or related discipline.
  • Previous experience of working in government institutions, international development organizations and consulting companies, or international development programs.
  • Demonstrated experience of not less than 3 years in public finance planning and budgeting, revenue and taxation, accounting, public procurement, internal and external audit at the central and regional government levels or public governance and international development Programs.
  • A solid understanding of the current governance landscape in Armenia, including related donor-funded programs.
  • Experience in Project design and implementation will be an advantage.

 

Skills and Competencies:

  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and develop successful working relationships with partners and other stakeholders.


The scope of work for this assignment includes:

Task 1: Business development and project-based activities in Armenia:

  • Research, identify and collect information on project opportunities in Armenia.
  • Create and update the database of individual contractors, partners.
  • Collect and update information on projects of potential interest for PMCG.
  • Support in preparation of tender documents and project proposals
  • Identify project team members as necessary.
  • Manage PMCG projects in Armenia in accordance with PMCG policies and procedures. 
  • Serve as a consultant in projects, as required.
  • Perform other business development activities, as required.

Task 2: Contribute to the implementation of PMCG strategies related to building partnerships and resource mobilization in Armenia:

  • Promote PMCG values, vision and strategic goals.
  • Provide strategic inputs in business growth strategy.
  • Research and analyze resource mobilization opportunities.
  • Assess the potential of registration or identify companies for merger/cooperation.
  • Support in negotiations with the identified company.
  • Engage in the assessment of legal and other risks of the merger.
  • Prepare a business plan for the PMCG operation in Armenia.
  • Represent PMCG at various meetings, forums, and conferences.
  • Report to the PMCG with weekly activities, monthly sales and plans.
  • Take initiatives and propose to participate, present and represent PMCGin relevant (global/regional/local) professional gatherings, conferences, networks, associations, etc.
